The salon is open for all photographers from all over the world. The salon is conformed with the rules of the Photographic Association of Slovenia - FZS 04/2012
RULES - THEME of the contest: ANIMALS IN THE WILD Panel of judges will review only works, that where made in nature. If the judges suspects that photographs of animals where made in captivity (zoo, pets…), those photographs will be disqualified. Human elements shall not be present, except on the rare occasion where those human elements enhance the nature story. At the exhibition we accept only photographs of mammals and birds living in Europe. Photographs of domestic animals are not allowed. Every entrant can participate with no more than four color or black and white digital photographs. With emitting and confirming entry all participants accept rules of the exhibition. Participant must be the owner of the photographs. By submitting the application author agrees and acknowledges that the organizer of the exhibition can use his works to promote exhibition, publishing in catalog, projection, the exhibition, articles, internet sites or other printed and electronic media without prior permission or payment to the author. Photographs sent with the application form in digital format as JPG, JPEG file on CD/DVD, on clubs e-mail address: info@fotodrustvo-grca.si or via UPLOAD PAGE - HERE(most prefered method). The total size of all four files must not exceed 10Mb. Files should be in the resolution of 1024 pixels in the longest side and resolution of 72 ppi. Each work must be marked with serial number, family name, authors name and the title of work. Example: (1_surname_name_title)
Works on the CD / DVD sent to: FOTOGRAFSKO DRUSTVO GRCA KOCEVJE, Rozna 39, 1330 KOCEVJE, SLOVENIA (marked Animals)
ENTRY FEE - The fee for the costs of producing and sending the CD is 10 € which a participant pays in cash or with PayPal transaction on address: info@fotodrustvo-grca.si Authors who will not pay entry fee or not respect the other contest rules, will not be judged!
AWARDS - 1st place Gold Medal FZS and € 150 in cash
2nd place Silver Medal FZS and € 100 in cash
3rd place Bronze Medal FZS and € 60 in cash
3(three) Medals of Club FD GRCA Kočevje
5(five) Diplomas of Photographic Association of Slovenia.
